From your first enquiry to the day your kitten comes home, we guide you through every step with care, transparency and regular updates — so you always know what to expect.
Contact Cattuna Cattery by phone or through our website enquiry form. We like to have an initial conversation to learn about you, answer your questions and help you choose a kitten that suits your family and lifestyle. We can then arrange a FaceTime call so you can meet the available kittens.
Once a litter arrives and the queen and kittens are settled, we contact our waiting families personally with regular photo and video updates as the kittens grow. Families are then invited to a phone or FaceTime call to discuss the kittens and next steps.
We offer a FaceTime call before a kitten is secured. Once a deposit is received, the kitten is reserved exclusively for that family and removed from availability. Standard deposit: $500 per kitten.
Once a kitten is secured, families receive regular photos and video updates as their kitten grows, shared on our social media, along with helpful information about feeding, litter and preparing the home.
Kittens are not collected from our home. We arrange safe air travel for kittens to destinations throughout Australia, and may offer personal delivery to selected locations by prior arrangement. Every kitten travelling by air is provided with a new, secure, airline-approved travel crate. Interstate transport is booked through Nataline and costs vary by area.
Deposits are non-refundable if the purchaser changes their mind, their circumstances change, or they're otherwise unable to proceed. Families are responsible for completing checks (landlord, family or body corporate approval) before paying a deposit.
We take this approach so that we can confidently reserve a kitten exclusively for your family and decline other interested homes — a commitment we take seriously on both sides.
Balance terms are discussed individually and can be paid on pickup.
Our pricing reflects the care, health testing and time that goes into raising each kitten. Kittens are placed as much-loved family companions and are not sold for showing or breeding unless clearly stated. No show or breeding homes are currently accepted.

Yes — we arrange safe interstate air travel to approved families throughout Australia (no road-based pet transport companies). Costs vary by destination and are quoted individually. Every kitten travels in a new, pet-safe travel crate at no extra cost.
To protect the health, safety and privacy of our cats and kittens, we don't offer in-person cattery visits. Prospective families are welcome to arrange a FaceTime call instead.
From 12+ weeks of age, following our vet's recommendation based on each kitten's age, weight and development.
