"After attending a cat show, I completely fell in love with the British breed — their beautiful round faces, plush coats, gentle nature and charming personalities captured my heart."
That was the moment my passion began, and I happily became a self-confessed crazy cat lady.
Since then, my love for British Shorthairs and British Longhairs has continued to grow. They are affectionate, loyal and wonderful family companions, and I feel incredibly proud to raise these beautiful cats and share the joy of the breed with other families.

At Cattuna Cattery, we are committed to ethical, responsible breeding and the highest standards of care. The health, wellbeing and temperament of our cats and kittens always come first. Our breeding cats are carefully selected and DNA tested, while every kitten is raised in a clean, loving environment with attentive care and early socialisation.
Our breeding programme is held to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and daily care. Our cattery is regularly mopped and disinfected using F10, and all kitten areas are thoroughly cleaned every day.
Litter trays are checked and cleaned daily, with litter in kitten areas fully replaced and trays thoroughly cleaned every two to three days. Every cat receives fresh water daily in a clean bowl, and food bowls are washed and sanitised regularly.
We test our breeding cats for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and additional hereditary health conditions. Full testing results are available on request.
We have one, or sometimes two, litters a year per queen, depending on how many kittens she had in her previous litter, and we follow ANCATS guidelines. Every queen is given adequate rest between litters.
We offer a FaceTime call before a kitten is secured, giving families the chance to meet us, see the available kittens, ask questions and feel confident in their decision. We encourage an initial phone call so we can get to know each other and answer any questions.
Cattuna Cattery kittens are registered with ANCATS, with full pedigree papers provided to every new family.
Our breeding cats are shown and assessed against the breed standard — a measure of quality we take seriously and are proud of.

It's not a commitment — just a way to stay informed. We'll reach out personally when we have a litter that might be right for you.
