By purchasing a kitten from Cattuna Cattery, the buyer agrees to all terms set forth in this document. The buyer accepts full responsibility for the care, housing, diet, and welfare of the cat.
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of collection. If the buyer changes their mind, the deposit is forfeited. If we are unable to provide the reserved kitten for any reason, the deposit will be refunded or transferred to another litter at the buyer's discretion.
The kitten is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. The buyer has 72 hours to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the vet finds the kitten to be medically unacceptable, it may be returned for a full refund, provided a written statement from the vet is supplied.
We provide a two-year guarantee against lethal genetic defects (including PKD and HCM). If the cat dies or must be euthanized due to a genetic condition within this period, we will provide a replacement kitten of equal value when available. Vet records and an autopsy report may be required.
The buyer agrees that the cat will be kept strictly indoors, or allowed outdoors only in a secure enclosure (catio) or on a harness and leash under direct supervision. Under no circumstances is the cat to be allowed to roam freely outdoors.
All pet kittens are sold desexed (spayed/neutered) prior to leaving our home, usually between 12-14 weeks of age. No exceptions will be made.
If at any time the buyer can no longer care for the cat, the breeder must be contacted first. The cat must not be surrendered to a shelter, pound, or rescue organization, nor sold or given away without our prior knowledge and consent. We will always take our cats back or assist in finding a suitable new home.
